Spectacular Spaces

As we approach the halfway mark of 2023 (How crazy?! Time is flying by!), we wanted to share some fun and unique projects that are currently in the works, as well as some spectacular recently finished spaces. We hope you find them just as jaw-dropping as we do!

As Seen on Our Socials

Moroccan Mesa

Completed in February, this primary and guest bathroom remodel and powder room addition is a nod to the intricate details and patterns in Moroccan and Spanish design. We put in accents of the pattern and color she wanted and balanced it with a white field tile to give her a sophisticated and luxurious feel. At first glance, the spaces look small, but with the right configuration and the high ceilings, we were able to maximize the space and give the client exactly what she wanted.

Goodbye Grandma’s House

This nearly 5,000 square foot remodel and furnishings was just completed last month! This home went through the most drastic change for the better! It was the classic Scottsdale Tuscan home and we turned it into the ultimate completely customized bachelor pad. We collaborated with the contractor from day one to ensure our designs were feasible and realistic, and so that the contractor was aware of what needed to be done in order to execute the design.

When curating this home, we focused on giving the home balance. We knew we wanted the powder room (our favorite room in the home) and primary bedroom to be moody and masculine, but knew we needed to use the natural light in the rest of the home to balance the darkness. The way we tied it all together to be cohesive was by adding darker elements throughout the home, such as the accents and metals in the cabinetry.

La Junta

This was a kitchen, fireplace, and primary bathroom remodel located in Scottsdale that was recently completed in April. Our client had a vision for a more functional kitchen and a spa-like bathroom with a great amount of storage. Though our client wanted to change a lot, there were still many aspects that were to remain the same, such as the paint color and the cabinetry. We took those elements and through our design, were able to elevate her existing space, making it feel completely transformed. We achieved this with a lot of help from our contractor and his cabinet company, who copied the existing door style and finish so when we added the double islands in the kitchen, it looked intentional.

Penny Lane

Another project completed last month, this contemporary southwest home in Sedona has been a project we’ve been working on for quite some time. It started as a remodel to give the space a better flow and functionality. We moved the location of the kitchen to give our clients more room to cook and to take advantage of their amazing view. Additionally, we completely changed the layout of both of the guest bathrooms to accommodate a large shower and vanity. Lastly, the primary bathroom & closet layout wasted so much space & had a sunken tub, which was a hazard. So we designed a new layout, filled the sunken tub, and replaced it with a shower and soaking tub. Post remodel, we assisted with furnishings and accessories to tie everything together. Because of how long and in-depth this process was, we got to know our clients so well, we built a unique friendship. When picking out furnishings and accessories, we were able to gauge their physical reactions to know whether or not they liked what we selected. It made the process so much easier and incredibly fun!

Goddess Bridal Boutique

This LGBTQ+ and POC supportive bridal boutique is set to open in early July and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this special project. Every designer that will be showcased in the boutique is either a part of the LGBTQ+ community, a POC, or an ally. The owner has a very bohemian style and wanted her space to have a very divine feminine feel to it. So, we started with a color palette, threw in some eccentric, stand-out elements, and used a lot of curves, all of which represent unique femininity.

Ruby Red

Our client has a very distinct monochromatic European contemporary style that is very chic and glam. We don’t get to design in this style often, so this project has been very fun for that reason! She will have quite a few custom moments throughout her home. We are designing a custom planter in her entry way, a wall of bookshelves and a wall with 3D detail in her office, wall molding trim detail to the dining room wall, a media wall with monochromatic details in the living room, and a headboard wall in her bedroom. This glamorous home is estimated to be complete by the end of summer!

All About the View

Sedona gives way for some of the best views, and our client’s home has one of the best views we’ve seen! So naturally, we named her project as such and every detail about her kitchen and fireplace remodel was made in inspiration of and to compliment the view. Our favorite moments in this kitchen that are truly the WOW factors are the phenomenal countertop slab we picked out with our client and the range hood. We cannot wait for you all to see the final product in the fall!

Long Time Coming

This full home remodel started in April of 2021 and after a lot of permit issues with the city, we finally were able to start the construction a few months ago! We are estimated to complete this mid-century modern/contemporary project by the fall, so be on the lookout! The part of this remodel that we are looking forward to the most is the kitchen. It was such a small and compact space before so we designed it to be completely open and be the heart of the home. It is two toned- white and wood, with a black countertop and self splash. Absolutely to die for!

We look forward to sharing more project progress with all of you on all of our socials! If you haven’t followed us yet, you’re missing out!
